M1114 Slantback Roof Brace Backwards Compatibility

I've been looking around for a the tube that mounts to the sponsons that supports the ring for a slantback, but I can't find any of the old style tubes, does anyone know if the m1114 tube will work in a slantback upgrade for a m998?

Or does anyone know where to get the older tube?

Is it the mounting points for the turret support ring? Or is the bolting points? It looks like my turret ring support would fit?
