nahh. Looking at the DSCC in columbus, and wright patterson AFB in dayton. Ive learned to ALWAYS preview the items before you bid. I went down today, son was out of school because of ice and high water.. he saw one he liked. got in it. No tranfercase and rear driveshaft<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_mes.gif" alt="Mes">
But theres a 5Ton with a dump bed on it that is comming up for auction, i got in and has voltage and it cranked like hell, just no fuel. Right now Im bidding on a aircraft start cart with a small gas turbine in it. I can see no end of fun with it<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_wink.gif" alt="Wink">

a word of warning- I may be mistaken but I don't believe you can get the 5 ton due to the fact you'll need a CDL to drive it and isn't there an 18 yo age limit at least? I could be wrong, just something to watch out for

not sure. in state of ohio. CDL class A weight is 26K gross weight... how much is a 5T

A five ton will put you over 30k if I remember correctly. You will need a class "B" CDL for it. Anything over 50k is a class "A" I believe. I have a class "A" so I don't pay attention to that stuff because I'm legal no matter what. Plus the doubles and triples, haz mat, tanker, motorcycle and whatever else I have I can legally drive anything that moves.

Yeah, the empty weight of a M817 dump is 24,426 lbs, so the GVWR is definately way over 26K.
