m35a2 starting problem

i am new to owning this m35a2 i have had it for 2 months now, it always starts, i went out this morning to move it and it would crank over and you can hear the fuel pump on,but wont start, any quick ideas i can look for? thanks

Fuel filters clean? Crack an injector line to see if there's fuel.

I had the same problem with my deuce. First be sure the engine stop handle is pushed all the way in, then check the engine to be sure the cable is pushing the rod all the way in. If it just sticks out a little bit, it can cause that problem. Put a little PB Blaster on the rod, disconnect the cable and work it back and forth several times, it should spring back freely. If the rod will not free up, remove the two screws on the plate, more PB Blaster and work the internal rod. I also put PBB on the cable from the firewall to the end, just in case it was binding there.

If that was, in fact, the problem and the above doesn't fix it, I can't be of much help.

It has gas through the filter and its a nice stream, but no fuel at the injector, theres a box next to the frame rail with 6 gas lines going from it to the injectors,the gas is not making it out on that box, it says Bosch on it

You should be running diesel , gas will burn but needs oil added to lubricate the injector pump.

That box is your injection pump. You need to make sure your fuel shutoff rod moves freely.

Yes it dose,and the truck runs off starting fluid ,can that injector pump be rebuilt? Or is there something I can do with it in the truck to get it pumping agin?

Take the fuel shut off cover off, and make sure the lever INSIDE moves freely.

Yep it moves freely,still not pumping

Maybe the plunger is stuck. Pull the bolt in the center of your injection lines and place a wooden dowel in there. Then have someone crank the motor over. The wooden dowel should move up and down about a quarter inch.

Took out the bolt and gas came out when I turned on the elect.switch, then cranked it and the plunger went up and down, sound normal?

When you said the fuel block lever was free, did it "rest" at the 7 o'clock position? It should go to that position by itself if you push it back to the firewall and let it go.

Yep I pull it to the fire wall and it springs back to the 7 o'clock position, any other idea?

When you checked for fuel, where did you check it at? On top of the secondary filters?

I pulled the line after the 2 filters that goes in to the injector pump and gas flowers great out of it, then I pulled a line off the injector and cranked and no gas came out, then pulled one line off th hh and no gas came out when cranking the motor
