The motor bracket (P/N# 12276904) is busted on my 925A2. It is what mounts the hydraulic motor to the winch. It is aluminum so it didn't hold up really well to what ever the SeaBee guys ran over. I haven't been able to find one used yet. All of the yards I have called have one, but they are broken too! LOL.

I was able to track down one of the contractors that makes them for the military. They want $199 for a new. If I buy 6, I can get them for $175/piece. The hard part is finding 5 more people with broken brackets!

I hate to pay that much for one even if it is a freshly machined piece. The guys in the machine shop at my brother's plant might be able to fab one out of steel with the specifications on hand.

Here's what the spec's say:

ALUMINUM MATERIAL; CYLINTRICAL SHAPED ITEM,FLANGED ON BOTH ENDS; 1 FLANGE 1.060 IN. THK; OPPOSITE END FLANGE 0.620 IN. THK; BOTH FLANGE DIAMETERS 6.120; 4 HOLES EACH FLANGE ON 5.000 IN. BOLT HOLE DIA; 4 PLAIN HOLES ONE END0.531 IN. DIA,4 THREADED HOLES

OPPOSITE END 9/16-18 UNF-2B; 4.820 IN. O/A LENGTH; CENTER BODY LENGTH 2.880 INS LG,3.680 IN. DIA; STEPPED CENTER APPERTURE WITH 2.812 IN. DIA THROUGH

Thoughts? Anyone seen one? 54reo? :)

you got the specs - i thought that'd be the hard part!!! you could definitely get it fab'd with the specs in hand. i bet you could find someone to put it together for less than $200. heck, i'd spend $200 for it to be fab'd out of steel.

or, just buy the other 5 - sell them for $190 ea. apparently someone is going to need them since all replacements seem to be broke...

Not sure how I missed this post. Any good machine shop should beable to make you one cheap. I wonder what will break if the steel one is used, winch housing?

Thanks Jeff. I am waiting on a machine shop to make me one right now. They'll probably do it out of aluminum to keep the strength similar to the cast part.
