They don't have enough to sell any and the rest are on a ship somewhere. :)
I thougt the same thing, but I suppose the Marines transportation fleet is a fraction the size of the Army so you would see less. Also I am sure there are difefrent GL sites that Marine equipment would be more likely sold at than others.
I just buy the Army trucks and enlist them in the Marine corps. Stencils are wonderful!!!

Army vets believe that Marine trucks do get surplussed out, but they usually have their controller memories removed before they get surplussed. Actually, the memory is removed prior to field service as well. rofl

Why the fuss about the truck being a Marine truck anyway? The trucks are similar to Army iron surely and there would be a larger pool of trucks to pick from if you went the Army Strong way.

A.R.M.Y. Strong?

Ain't
Really
Marines
Yet

Also, I think the Marine Corps 2 1/2-tons has Detroit lockers in their rears, too, to aid in amphibious beach landings with sandy conditions.

Why are there no Marine trucks on GL? Are they sold elsewhere?
Because they are rode hard and put up wet (in salt water). And the Marines don't konw any more about maintenance than the typical African hellhole.

Best bet for condiiton and well maintained is AirFarce. Don't take them off paved roads or out of the Hilton parking lot. Well maintained by an outfit that is pretty anal about equipment working when it's 50000ft up. Next choice then Seebee stuff, National Guard then Army reserve, Here in Iowa much of the NG vehicles at issue to units is garaged.
