On 120v only I'm getting 60v each on L1+L2. This is putting a meter on the ground stud and terminals. I'm not great with electrical but I'm thinking this is wrong.

Was it raining or just finish raining when you started it? The voltage regulators are real sensitive in my experiences and after they dry, voltage returns to normal.

That is odd. I run mine in the 240 single phase mode to give me 2 120 volt legs just like my house.
120v 1ph L1=60v L2=60v (L1 to N, L2 to N)
240v 1ph L1=120v L2=120v (L1 to N, L2 to N)
What is your power volt readings at the courtesy outlets?

Where is the neutral on these generators? 120v only

L0 is neutral. When in 120v 1ph you will get;
L1-L0=60v
L2-L0=60v
L3-L0=0v

In 240v 1ph you will get:
L1-L0=120v
L2-L0=120v
L3-L0=0v

At least that is what I get from mine.

I only want to talk about 120v configuration
Is the neutral and ground tied together? If so I'm getting correct voltage.

Neutral and ground are not "Tied." What are your voltages at the courtesy outlets?
Again, in 120V 1ph:
L1-L0=60v
L2-L0=60v
L3-L0=0v
L1-L2=120V

If you plan on connecting this to your house when your power is out it will need to be set to 240V 1Ph to power your house.

Here is a drawing. Generator is not tapped to a neutral in 120v mode which I find as odd but it's the way I understand it. It's for 16bIMG_1776.jpg

I would have never guessed you would get 60vac from each leg to get 120vac. Learn something new everyday

It caused me to go do some digging. Had never seen this delta configuration before. Still researching. I am no expert by any stretch of the imagination. Just now got in to these gen sets and trying to absorb as much information as possible. This site IS the place to do it.
