I have an A2, not an A2C, so no slats/drop sides, and mine came without bows or cover, but I hope this helps some.

Edit: my data plate has a height clearance of 13 feet 2 inches, I'm assuming that's the cargo cover height, hopefully someone with a cover installed can confirm

112 inch height. I calculated the heights I needed.

Do we need the cut outs in the rims, or are they ok like I have them?

Well... I think they look just fine as you built them.
It would be neat if you could cut out holes in the rims - but that will take a lot of time.

Honestly, I am not sure the time would be worth the effort...
