above answers are correct, and also add to your checklist to remove the retainers to unplug the blocks on the firewall driver side. The heaviest connection in there leads to the amp gauge and feeds the whole system. I have seen this connection corroded, or overheated and spread loose, or completely burnt. Check it out, clean and lube all those connections in there while you have it apart. I bought an M890 years ago from a DRMO claiming engine was seized for it would not turn over. Imagine their surprise when I unplugged and cleaned/tightened the connection and I drove it onto my trailer.
