So I finally got around to cleaning out the cab of my Deuce as I've been doing lots of little repairs/fixes here and there in preparation for trying to get it roadworthy soon...it sat for a couple of years out in the desert near 29 Palms, California, and the kangaroo rats & other critters made it into their home of homes.

I broke out the industrial-strength shop-vac and vacuumed up as much debris & rat droppings as I could from the engine compartment and then the cab...as I'm vacuuming behind & underneath the driver's seat, I can tell that the shop-vac is picking up some hard substantial objects. I had the smaller nozzle tip on the hose, and when I pulled the hose back to see what the heck was being sucked up & causing such a racket, I saw the item in the photo below sticking out of the shop-vac nozzle. Looks like a predator caught a rabbit & ate it behind the driver's seat while it was sitting out in the desert prior to my purchase.

So my question to the all-knowing Majas of the Steel Soldiers community is: is this a good luck charm, a harbinger, or an omen of bad things to come? I know rabbits' feet are typically considered good luck charms, but I'm not sure how to interpret this one. Of course if the rest of the rabbit was freshly killed inside, I could have cut off a foot for a good luck charm and threw the rest in a pot for some stew, but this one has me stumped (pun intended).

Thanks in advance for all sage advice!

Other people drive around with left over animal parts in their trucks. Try it.

Oh NO!...Put it back where you found it

Say the 23rd PSALM over and over while holding a crucifix and wearing a ring of garlic.

I fear your truck may be possessed by the evil spirits in the form of a

Rabbit Devil.
