Acme, I have done the thread chaser thing on an old dually I took the axles out of. The studs were very bad off. It takes a long time to get them done, and a lot of patience, but they look and perform SOoooo much better when you are finished. This is going to take several days I think. Six wheels worth. Oh joy.
