Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
when you swapped the IP, did you use the same ESO solenoid ?It will not return to idle after coming to a stop, as in a stop sign or red light. It will die and fire right back up when I hit the ignition.
I did, it seems to be functioning properly.when you swapped the IP, did you use the same ESO solenoid ?
Mine did something very similar and it was a bad shut off. I would have suggested turning the override screw in on it .
It fixed all the issues the truck was having. The truck no longer dies when I come to a stop, starts on a dime, and has good acceleration (for what it is).The shop I have used is in Charleston, SC. They have an employee who drives to Shaw AFB where I work several times a week. I took a pump into work, gave it to him, and got it back two days later, $500 even. And that was with a new solenoid and little internal filter.
The real question now is, did the rebuilt pump solve the problem?
What did you find was the problem? It fixed all the issues the truck was having. The truck no longer dies when I come to a stop, starts on a dime, and has good acceleration (for what it is).
It was the injection pump. I am not an expert but I believe I heard the words "fuel or throttle leakage". Will let them know that the truck would die when coming to a stop. Whatever they did it worked. What did you find was the problem?
