So we've been getting good use out of our M977 around the farm, and the new M989A1 trailer was brand new, and was delivered successfully. I had to drag it up the mountain over terrain that the HEMTT was made for, but on the run up to one of the hard sections I bounced the crane pretty hard. The proximity sensor on the crane did not survive.

This is seems to be a design flaw in need of rectification. I've bought a new sensor and some nice rubber 4" bumpers that I'll attach to the boom to hopefully prevent this in the future. Just a note to all those who might use these beast.
