My M101A2 trailer tongue broke and I was able to repair it with the loan of some tools and bolts thanks to two of the Matt's that were there. The repair lasted an additional 1050 miles until I could return home yesterday. Had a great time for my first rodeo. Got a bunch of photos to inflict upon you.

I am going to make it to one of these dang Rally's before I die... Seems that every time I get one lined up, something goes haywire and I end up missing it. Last time my eye was swollen shut because of a bee sting. This time, Son #2 had his 1 year old's birthday party on Saturday - and the old guy - that's me had to be on grandpa duty for the party. I was a slacker on Sunday and should have been there but work was calling louder than having fun. Plans in place for the Georgia Rally and I am already defending that time slot!

Thanks for the pictures @Trailboss ! You captured a lot of good green excitement for sure.

We were glad to have you! It was a long haul but sounds like you thought it was well worth it!
Hopefully we will see you next year.
Thx for all the pix-I didn’t get any.

Yes gang, I did get second place at the show as well. 2022award.jpg

On another note, In speaking with some of you at Denton, there was an interest in a Fall October/November gathering. I have the Uwharrie Farm (where the July 4th Demo derby is held) in Troy, NC available.
I had mentioned this to the owner and he seemed quite interested to get an event going. I am currently "crew chief" on his M35A2. I imagine this would start as more of a weekend "get together" as opposed to a full blown show. There is certainly enough room for it to grow if need be. Accommodations would be primitive camping style, but we are all used to that. I know there are some facilities in the National forest that would be a short drive away. Folks said It would be fun to return to the area as I understand this is where the original rally started. We would be looking at a 2023 date. Comments / ideas please. Let me know what you think. thanks!
