One of my deuces oil pressure jumps to 60 psi when I start it & it stays there. The one I just bought jumps to 45-50 when I start it & maxes out at 40 after it warms up . It also fluctuates up & down as I add mere pedal or back off. Is there a potential problem with either truck? Thanks Beetle
Look at the PS magazine articles link down on the lower left of the page. There is a cartoon about which gauge and sender and the readings. The -20 manual also covers how to check the gauge and sender with a volt meter.
It reads like you have a mismatched set or one part is about to give up on you. Bad ground sounds real good to your situation as well.
