OK, MO, AR, KS Rally June 21-23 @ D-Day Adventure park 2013

This is right in the corner of where these 4 states meet and since there are no Steel Soldiers Rallies out here on the plains East of the Rockies and West of the mighty Miss. We tried this 2 years ago and have got the word from Dewayne,(THE OWNER of D-Day park) that he would like to make this an annual event so here goes. This year and sorry for the short notice it will be June 21 to 23 the same week end as the OFAST (Oklahoma full auto shoot & trade show) which is less than a 1/4 mile away. More details to come out as we get them firmed up. The park is 1,000 acres with 40+ miles of trails. No fees for trail riding, camping or swap/vendor space for this event unless you want a 30amp RV hook up with water and that's $35 for the event. There are bath houses with flush toilets on site. In the future would you like to stick with the OFAST weekend or have this in the early Fall? Pm or email me with questions or if you would like to help out.

I vote for the same weekend as OFAST. 1-it's cool to drive along the trails at D-Day and hear the firing at the adjacent property, 2-it's lots of fun to go over and see all the shooting.

This is a fun event and I highly recommend it.

He makes some good points. But I don't like to roast in the hot sun that time off year. The A/C does not seem to work on my deuce. But I will try to come over for a day.

The Deuce is not to bad to travel in when it's warm. I just pop open the windshields and roll all the rest of the windows up. Pressure keeps all the engine and transmission heat out and with the rest of the windows open you're not stuck in hurricane winds.

The M880 on the other hand is intolerable...

I'll be there for sure. Likely we'll form up a convoy from Kansas City as usual. Probably do my usual M151 in the deuce bed trick to get the little fella down there unless I manage to get plates on it in time. (still waiting on one more decent tire before I can road drive it anyhow)
