I'm planning on doing a 4" lift on my 1028 using mostly ORD parts. Thus far I have ordered the shackle flip kit, new shocks for the rear, and the 4" HD springs for the front. I still need to measure and order new front shocks, brake lines, and I am probably gonna order a set of ORD shackles while I'm at it. My question(s) is/are has anybody done something similar to this? I measured the bushings for my shackles the other day and they were coming at around 1.5" diam each (actually probably a bit smaller than that) Is this correct? Supposedly '73-87' 3/4 and 1-ton GM trucks use a 1.75" bushing at one end and 1.5" at the other. I also measured the banjo nuts for the brakes and they were 7/16" Again, supposedly, the '79-'98 GM trucks used a 10mm banjo nut. ???? While I'm on the topic, what's the general consensus on the crossover kit?
