I don’t have any action shots or exotic places to show. I did drive my M1165 for the first time in probably a year and a half. I have been chasing fluid leaks everywhere and I fix one and I find 2 more. My Son and I finally found and fixed ( so far) all but one. I finally got a replacement tire and wheel for it and today we started it. Took a minute to start but it did and it sounds good. We decided that we should drive it to get some fresh diesel and took a short trip in the desert. Turbo truck seems to have more power than my M1123. Most of my leaks was from loose clamps and that’s frustrating from a truck just coming out of what seems like complete reset. I’m excited to get it cleaned up and get my x-doors on it and drive the piss out of it. I still have a lot to do but I feel like I have good bones for a really nice truck. I had a lot of help from members here and I want to thank you for your help!

Great to finally get out and about in this beast! Couldn’t have done it without you friend!!! Thanks Eric!
Pics are awesome! Beautiful people in beautiful trucks seeing beautiful things. I think Eric’s mushroom cap is too far down on his intake. Maybe not but it looks crooked

The intake tube on my humvee is 4 inch PVC pipe
I made a bracket to attach to the A frame like the original snorkel

I’ll check tomorrow to make sure I didn’t screw up.

When I got my M1165 cap was down too far and I’m sure it was restricting the limited flow of air. I don’t think I have ever known or read about a person using truck more than you. I think that’s amazing.

Got about 1000 pounds of play sand and mulch, amazing how the ECV springs work when there is actually some weight on them!

I had a similar usage with mine. I hauled 2 tons of triple 15 and urea Tuesday. It’s Like you said it’s amazing how it rides when loaded up. Hopfully I’ll have a lot of farm chores knocked out in the coming weeks and I can finish my rearview camera install and can start to work on the outside of the truck. I have the rear hinged half doors to put on and I’m currently restoring some x doors, then a scuff and spray to freshin up the paint IMG_7536.jpegIMG_7538.jpeg
