Yep, little guys are the coil and big guys are the contacts. If you follow the wires from the big contacts, one goes from where battery + connects to the solenoid and the other connects to the starter solenoid coil in. The aux start relay completes a circuit between these two points (applies 24V to start solenoid) when it is energized. #4 and #7 on this diagram.

Correct. It will not get simpler than this relay.

One big lead from 24VDC+ source.
One big lead to the load.
Makes no difference how they get hooked up.

One small lead from 24VDC+ Source.
One small lead to ground.
Makes no difference how they get hooked up.

Its easy!
