This pic is from a book I have, the weapon is a laser guided bomb. The Deuce probably survived to be listed on GL as:

"NOT running, buyer load. Buyer must pick up all additional parts that are spread out over a large area. No assistance available".

Actually the book says that this Deuce wasn't hurt at all - it only got dirt on it from the massive explosion!! Seriously....it got a depot rebuild later on and then "lived happily ever after".

I have that in a Bill Gunston book on Rockets and Missiles. That's a Paveway laser guided bomb (Paveway I family, KMU-351 Mk 84 2,000 lb bomb). The caption for the photo states:

Two frames form a TI film suggesting that truck drivers ought at least to get out of the cab if KMU-351 is anywhere about.
