Iam in the process of replacing the injection pump on my M1009 everything is going smoothly, when I removed the old pump on the front of the pump were the three bolts arethat holds it to the gear theres a plunger (lack of a better name) seems to be spring loaded the rebuilt pump is missing it anyone know what its for and how do you remove it so I can put on the rebuilt pump. Thanks for any help, Scott O&O

Try pulling it out a little bid and then turning it first one way and then the other to make the spring inside shrink a little. When I did mine the spring stayed inside and I had to use a small ninty degree scribe to get it out. I just threaded the scribe all the way down until it too came loose. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!2cents
