I've been looking over the TMs and have not been able to find the procedure for filling the engine with oil. I see the air valves that say open prior to filling. Is that all? Open the breathers and fill, close breathers, run engine?
thanks!

There's no vents to the oil system.

The one on top is coolant

Drivers side is fuel sampling

Passenger side on from of trans cooler is the trans fluid sampling port.

It's in the lube order (TM)

I changed the oil on mine. Nothing special, just pour the oil in, 5.5 or 5.75 gallons, cant remember. Just curious, why do you mention the dropside bed on your vehicle description, they all had that on the 923a2's but they are 14.5 ft long.

Yes, correct. My truck was originally a tractor. I removed the 5th wheel hitch, and cut down a stock 14' dropside bed to fit. The shorter truck is much easier for off-roading here in the North-East.
Would definitely like to see pictures or video when you take your truck off roading. Seems to be limited video of the M931/932 tractors off road.

I do like wheelin the 5 ton but when I get it stuck, its normally quite a bit of work to get it out. So I normally stick to "light" wheelin and recovering others.
The truck behind me in these photos was a little stuck. He's on 50-something inch tractor tires and two trucks where trying to yank him out before I backed up to him and crawled out. These guys that were wheelin are NOT scared of the skinny pedal.

Lube Order says 20 quarts with filter change on the 8.3. That's all I bought(2x2.5 gallon jugs), and am going to be changing it soon, I hope I got enough.
