purty tow bar

Ok Guys, they are completed to the best of my ability to see all the lettering and layout from the pictures and information given.

Give them the once over and let me know if there are any corrections. I' can start making them as soon as they are OK'd.

Price will be $8.50 for the two. This includes postage.

I think you will get different answers on that.

1. There's the mil spec way
2. The right way
3. Then there's my way.

I use a 1/2 cable 12 ft long with loops and swedged on the ends. I go through the pindle on top of the eye. The one to each clevis on the bumper. You can do the oposite with the gear for the rears. And then i use 3/8 grade 100 chain crossed in the center. Left to right . Right to left. You can either use cable or chain. I prefer Cable. Just my personal oppinion. Depending on how heavy, I would go with both. But the cable works great. Nice and clean nothing to snag. I am waiting for my cable now it's getting made..!!

Old one was getting frayed.

With the chains Going the same way crossed. Is what a couple of friends of mine done hauling trucks. I told them with the cable through the pintle hitch. and attached to the clevis's. Is what i like. They are in the transportaion Division and Recovery. I will post pics up at a lter date to show what I mean. Easier that way.

You put it through with the tow bar on it too? I would think that would destroy the cable, maybe even too tight of a fit. Guess it works though.

Polverone, perhaps you could post some pics of your other decals for some of the new guys to see? They might be interested in them as well.

That is just too cool. Since you brought up the Seabees stuff, I suddenly realized all my paint masks are lost. I have no idea where I put them, Grrrrr! I'll be after towbar stickers soon.

Dang Kenny, that bites. Let me know if you don't find them.

I started a separate thread for ease of search for these decals as the response has been impressive.

Now there is no excuse not to repaint the towbars anymore!!!

Thanks to all.
