I have been working on mine for a bit, little at a time. I got sidetracked splitting my brakes which is now complete. Cab is welded in, floors patched, 105 trailer bed on. Now I need to get back to finishing my roof and skinning it.

Is this with the narrow cab like the deuce in the rear or is it a 939 series cab behind?

Its a M35 cab with the narrowed front.
The floor was cut outside the frame rails so the cab frame remained the same width so as to sit on the truck frame.
Then a jack was used side ways to spread the floor roughly 4.5" on each side.
Then welded the cross members back together then weld the floor back together.

This reminds me of a t.v. show, Full Custom Garage, by Ian Rousell.
A few seasons ago, Ian took a 10 ten and made a crew cab for a client and it came out really good.
The client put a M109 van body on and made an off road hunting lodge.

As of this point im thinking no.
Finding something after market that is air ride.
Iv already put power steering on and tilted the steering wheel for more belly room.
Now move the seat back even just a couple 3 inches would be sooooo much better still

Well its been slow going.
Had to go away for a week.
Got the passenger outside filled in

If anyone has any suggestions on body filler im open to ideas.
Also curious can some one who's done a quad cab shead some light on the skinning of the roof.
How you attached it. Sealed it. What gauge metal did you use.
Thanks Bill Deuce outside.jpgI

Floors all welded.
Sides are welded in.
Put a couple coats of Dura-Glas on the fill in metal.
Looking Good.
Ordered a sheet of 18 gauge sheet steel 48"x102"
That will be for the roof probably start that this weekend.Dura-Glas.jpg
