It is the military hot dog cart known as a K-38 lineman's trailer. Telephone company's started using them in the late 20's and they got drafted for WWII . They carried all the stuff for 2 pole climbers and the tools to string and splice telephone wire. Does yours still have all the dividers inside?

purchased a m101a today

That one was originally probably a gen set trailer as I see it had the filler neck on the passenger side for the belly fuel tank. Does it have lots of holes in the bed? Is the tank still underneath?

purchased a m101a today and the guy threw in another trailer, he didn't know much about either...not really sure what the other trailer is as far as specs, and it's use in the military, it's rough but pretty cool...once done it'll mostly be pulled by my m1009...anyone have info on it? I searched Google and the forum and didn't find anything

Working with a local VFD to change their 1079 into something more capable of service. Got a box in trade for the cargo bed..may mount the box back to the trailer chassis or who knows.

Well, they upped the starting bid to $500 and the rest is up to the customer(s).
