Correction ******* news just said my town has 26" so far and supposed to snow heavy for another 10 hours then light snow for another 6-8 hours after that. Snow drifts are 4-5 feet already and most side road are impassable for "normal vehicles". My son and I went for trip to dunkin donuts to get me a coffee.

That looks GOOD! When I was a boy I visited my uncle in Canada I saw these drifts. So nice.

Was supposed to be a "historic" snowfall. I think they spread more salt than we got in snow...

That is about 1/2 an inch on grass...everything else has already melted. We were forecasted in the foot and a half range...

My 5 year old thought he could shovel his way to the swing set. That is as far as he made it, before yelling for me to come get him.

Suddenly my memories of snow tunnels in grandma's back yard fall into scale.

So they didn't really film the Hoth scenes in Indiana when I was growing up. Huh.

You'll be telling your grandchildren about the time the snowmageddon superstorm Juno hit your area and everyone was forced to eat French toast for weeks because they wiped out all the milk, eggs and bread from the stores. Has anyone from the Weather Channel knocked on your door yet?

Not being prepared for snow in the winter in the North is like being shocked that hurricanes can hit the Gulf Coast.
