Well, got some simple fixes done to the deuce.
1. Drive link bolts between the transfer and transmission were lose. Put the TC in nertural, used 2 wrenchs 3/4" tightened it
up.
2. Transmission filled to hole, drained, and refilled
to one kuncle. FYI a 1/2 breaker bar non racheting wrench works perfect
to remove plugs. Used a hand pump from harbor frieght. Also, did the transfer case.
3. Removed inspect plate on the front of the transmission and hit that grease fitting.
4. Found that the emergency valve was opened...by whom I don't know. So I am adding this to the preflight check list.
5. Pumped fuel out of the primary fuel
drain. probally 2-3 quarts.
6. Tighten up the steering gear box bolts.
All of these items where brought to my attenition from reading posts.
Going to order a new air govenor and replace the old one. It's keeping my psi at 120.
