Fuel tank installed. Wasn't as simple as I had hoped. Ended up only using 2 straps over the 3. Had to relocate the air tank it was just too fat for between the cab and tank. Extended the exhaust under the truck and moved the hanger bracket back. Was able to make the bend around the tank with the flex pipe that was on the truck.

Installed a boarding ladder from a HET. Secured in with the fuel tank strap for easier winch platform access

Got bored and figured if I needed to smash anyone. Or deer. Or give em tetanus. Place to store more crap at least.

Gonna try to blast it later on this week and paint it.

Also picked up a EFA-18F3 axle. Complete. Which is a 18k rating front axle over the stock EFA-13F3 which is a 13k rated.

Now that's what I'm talking about!! Did you fold the front corners in yourself, or did it come that way?

Removed the rusty 7/8" cable. Installed the 1in cable spool from a MK15a1 i picked up for $100 on surplus thanks to the donkey down in Georgia. Cable fit in the u bolt anchor on the winch fine. Cable has great coating on it and a nice end swivel. Cable is rated at 110,000 lbs.

Installed the ground anchors under the bumper and secured them.

Installed a wheel chock storage box on the front bumper for the steer tires.

Installed new angle iron on the frame so that I can swap between 2in and 3.5in plates by simply removing the 8 bolts. The offroad flex in the plates are better suited for what I need it for anyway.

Fixing up a cage cover for the cable and a spring spooling plate similar to the HETs this weekend.

Installing spring cans on the rear axles as well since the M915s only have spring brakes on the front tandem.

Installed a Air brake release for the truck brakes out on the winch platform. @Castle Bravo and I agreed that it is kinda ignorant to have to leave the cab with the brakes not applied and then hook your winch up to the trailer. Or to have to lean back into the cab to release the brakes after you hook the cables and everything up and then climb back to the platform.

This valve is a standalone thru the same quick release valve the cab valve sends air to. Basically it is a T before the quick release with KN23010 one way check valves on each so air from either valve can only go to the brakes and not back to each other.

I also added two spring cans to the rear axle of the 915.

Wired in a 3 lever light switch.

Trailer rides a little more level and pulls better with the taller 3.5 plate.

Good price on tires!
My 920 had those tires, well, 11r24, on it stock.
Yep. There are 12R24s available in the civilian world which are equal to a 1400.

1400s will fit on the rear of an M915. 1600s will not fit on a M915. So went this route so I could stick with a 395 on the steer axle.
