Found this diagram for the spin on filter adapters made out of sheetmetal. Probably not that helpful, but it does give you specs on the key measurements. You can modify your adapter from there. I used 5" OD 6061 for the adapter plate. It's basically a cup on the underside of it. With a pocket up top to allow the hex stock/thread adapter to set flush at the filter base surface. Honestly it's probably cheaper to buy them already made if you don't have the materials. I paid $140 for the materials and filters. And I still need to find the gaskets. So the $200 for the kits are well worth it. But it was fun to turn these parts.
