The Honey Badger started out as a m916 that I was going to crew cab with some HET style body lines and eventually morphed into an MRAP size school bus, then most recently I have been finishing the motor home conversion. With a bathroom, toilet, two l-shape dinettes that convert into beds, I have fully solar, lights, heat ext with inverter for 120v and I’m getting the kitchenette planned.

I’ll tag the original build thread for those that want to see it some features from that were I took a new old service M917A1 cab To start the new body. The entire body is an on an air ride sub frame with for airbags and to pivot points with a giant track bar.

The rear door is a hydraulic ramp door with stairs built into it. The entire interior was spray formed for insulation and the body is made out of 2 x 4 and 2 x 2 box tubing quarter inch thick wall skinned and 1/8 sheet metal.

I also h

ave an Amrap 360° lighting kit full solar up top,.

..... by the way, for those of you who constantly stumble upon the name BIAB1 and don't know what it means........ and haven't read the whole thread "decade after being wrecked" (it's damn long too) .........Rick (CUCVRUS) introduced the truck like this in his build thread „ Build in a barn 1 „ ....... I thought that was a good name and only brought it to a short form, I asked dougco1 if he had anything against it to use the name (after all, with "easter find" he would have had the older rights)....... now i just hope that Rick ain't suing me for millions of dollars for using the name, LOL

This m923 has been one of the most reliable MVs I've ever seen. We have used this truck to go to almost all the ga rallys we have gone too and has hauled up to 21,000lbs of concrete blocks in the bed... it didn't like it though for a stock 250 cummins. It also got a brand new transmission before we got it thanks to Gram. This truck also has hauled logs all over the property and has towed up to 24000 lbs. This thing has been a beast and very very reliable.
