Purchased from GL at Redriver Army Depot Texarkana/Hooks, Texas March 08 (Awaiting EUC Approval)
S/N 87K02342
VIN 1040-10999
Thank You for providing this service.
Note: You put down the wrong NSN but for a deuce w/o w I got that one 'ingrained in the membrain'. The truck is military police which, although unusual, may explain the blue. Unit is part of the 99th RRC (Regional Readiness Command).NewMVGuy said:The reason i'm asking about this truck, I keep finding Strata blue paint under the camo, so it has raised my curiosity! The underside of the cab tub is still blue!!!
The truck came from chambersburg, it also has written in two places on the side of the truck"Aberdeen trk 01-04" , Also there are two shipping labels that are quite faded but the destination was FT Meade, The camo is an odd color that i havent identified yet, will post a pic of the color. It is the truck on the left!

It happens that way sometimes. It's all congressional and getting the pork for their local area. Other thing that happens is the left hand doesn't know (or care) what the right hand is doing. Folks doing the contracts for deuce rebuild is unaware the vehicles are being taken out of the system in X years and sign a 10 year contract to do rebuild of deuces. It just happens.grobinson2 said:Medlog,
Thanks for the info. Still cant understand why they would redo everything in 2005 and then set her free. Oh well, thanks again for the info.
