I think I want an MK48's battery box assembly complete too!
I would love to see more pics of your work related to that too!

HINT HINT!

PS, I LOVE to barter!

PSS, if I was not at least 99% sure I found these parts I would not
have posted, visavee the counting of chickens before their hatched deal! :)

Just giving you a hard time... I do that all the time... it is just that it is such spectacular step forward that I do not want to jinx it... Re the MK48 box, I got mine from BBF... good guys to deal with. (BTW, he still may have more a/c units for a real good price.) I cannot think of doing without one now. It feels like it was meant to be. The way the lid slides out and not up. The fact the lid is made up of fiberglass and not steel, lots lighter. Paid a buck for it... think it was one heck of a deal, could not pass it up. Really don't have many pics, just the ones posted. But there is no real science to the install. Take off the little bracket with th fabric strap (don't know what that was for... maybe the rear bumper falls off by taking that off... -:) and the Gerry can holder. cut a piece of rubber mating to seal up the extra holes from the Gerry can and tie her down with the bolts from the battery brackets. Really a sweet setup.

anxiously awaiting your report of the a/c bracket. Would make things a lot easier.

A/C setup for M936 Trucks

Hey Guys,
If anyone need Military Red Dot A/C setups for the 936 Series or M935A3 Trucks, I have NOS, ones.
They are made for Hmmwvs, but customes have placed them in different trucks with their own Compressor mounts
I also have the compressors in V-Belt configuration if needed, for an $175.00 extra cost.
Check out the kits..some pics attached. Price $1,250.00...
Kevin..

I just went outside and looked at installation of
this mount. Looks like you have to have "in hand" the
compressor ( of which I supplied an NSN in this thread prior)
and 2 longer belts, of which I think you can see the belt'number in prior pics
posted in this thread. Then it loooks like you loose a power steering
pump bracket. and bolt these parts all together as one unit.

I will prob do these deeds when I have time prior to sales
to be sure I do not sell a lemon to anyone but initial
investigations suggest these are the real deal. . . "COOL" !

ohboyohboy!... I am VERY excited here. All this looks correct...

I need a lil time...

Looks like you will need 2- .375 x 4.5" long bolts to hold the bracket to the compressor.

SWEET!

I believe there is enough for all in this thread.

I am not gonna sell them till I am 100% on what I have.
At this second I am 95%.

I need a couple of belts, time and some hardware. When this compressor
is in and spinning and I am SURE of things I will help others for SURE.

I will prob even have a hardware list for ya to obtain at that time!

Relax. . . :)

As soon as you have a deal in mind please advise. If you forget who I am, just look at the first post in this thread. I have been otherwise occupied and have not had much time to follow up on my quest, but this might divert me back. Congrats!
