The only deuce I ever experienced that ALMOST didn't leak was one that had just returned from Germany, before being sold as surplus. It had the extra side marker lights required in Europe.

Somebody had used multiple tubes of silicone sealant in a Don Quixote-like quest to stop all of the leaks. They nearly succeeded. Of course, you could no longer open the windshield.

Mine were jacked up inside and out. Sometimes it's just easier to replace them.
