What did you do to your deuce this week?

Removed the ropes from the rear of the M105. Replaced them with bungee balls. A lot easier to work with on a regular basis.

Bungee cord is a convenience for sure, but just remember your eyes when working around them.

I read an article in some medical journal once about eye injuries related to bungee cords, and decided right there to seriously weigh their risk against their benefit. There are lots of alternatives. The author of the article (a surgical M.D.), advised "Just say NO".

It's easy to do something careless and then you got a serious problem on your hands (blindness just isn't any fun), that you don't need, or want. That's all.

Where did you get dual voltage alternato and how does that work?

Search online for Dual Voltage Alternator/Generator, Niehoff, 260A/140A, 14/28V or something similar and you can find them. They're used in modern military trucks because the trucks run on 24v but some ECUs and trans controllers require 12V. How exactly it works I would guess its just two generators sharing a common shaft. For wiring just run your positive to separate systems and batteries but once they go to ground its a common ground. You can theoretically run the 12v to the jumper between the two batteries but in reality batteries don't charge perfectly balanced and you would eventually destroy your batteries.

I will also note that they make a 400amp version but I was told it was larger so I didn't bother with it.

I agree to heed caution. Used 'em for years tarping loads, never had a problem. I usually treat things that can hurt me with respect.

Fueled the Deuce, drove the Deuce + held above 1800RPM as much as possible.
It is 90° in the shade. Deuce took me three hours of driving to go get a haircut.
Memorial day, really is Decoration Day, so I adorned jammed traffic and parking lots
and casinos all over the place with a little something to remind or teach.
Looking down I see why everyone is in such a hurry to get to the next
light and stop. Apparently there is something vitally important in all those
little electronic devices they are fingering + desperately holding onto as if there
is no tomorrow.

It is true what the man said, "I have fun going slow, nobody honks, I come
up behind them at the next light anyway.
I wonder what is like to look in the rearview mirror and to see only an axle and a winch
of the truck you just cut off when you changed lanes right at the red stop and go light.

She will be on the road all thru the "holiday". 'Tiss more fun than a 396/69 Chevelle.

(It's funny: I didn't notice the Llama in the picture until I was marking it up ).

I don't know what that "thing" is but I would say that's no plate holder but a mount point for winch cable rollers/guides.
