Installed LED bulbs on my main workhorse M101A2.
Much less expensive than a new set of lights.

Applied electrical grease to the connections and silicone grease to the housing seal.
Should never have to worry about them again unless I smash one.

Trailer needs painted and is showing it’s age but it sure never lets me down.

I love what you have done to your lights! I would like to do the same thing with my trailers. Please let me know where you got the parts, what the part numbers are, and if you don't mind, what (if any) modifications did you need to make. Inquiring minds what to know !!! TIA...

Installed another LED bulb set in my second M101A2.
Super easy and will last for years.

The bulbs I got from another Steel Soldiers member.
The dialectic grease and the silicone grease are from Amazon.
Zero modifications are needed.
Took 5 minutes per side.

I have been searching for these bulbs without success, but I will not daunted! While looking at your earlier pics, I saw the BO cat eye below the service lights was also an LED component, as well as the lights at the very bottom of the housing. Are these two pieces factory for your lights, or did you add these parts as well?

Those are factory LED blackout bulbs, but you can usually buy them separately on eBay or a parts wanted request in the classifieds here on Steel Soldiers.

The Stop/Turn LEDs complete the light.

I had installed all LEDs on my old 5 ton using all Truck-Lite brand lights.
The prices for new LED tail lights increased a lot so I bought the new bulbs instead.
Not the same look obviously, but I now have the LED reliability/longevity for a fraction of the cost.

She is a great dog.
Loves riding in the back of the CUCV, or front seat of anything else.

Installed a LED set on my third M101A2.
Had another supervisor for this job.

The wheels and tires look GREAT! I always wanted an M149, but I have absolutely no idea what I would do with it...
That's easy:

You just park it somewhere on-site, so it's not in the way at all.

Then whenever somebody asks you, "Hey, what is THAT thing over there?!"

You reply undistracted and casually:

- "That's the Water Buffalo"

Like, of course; what else would it be, and then continue on about your business...

I was surprised on how often I use the water trailer.
Has been extremely handy
It has been used as everything from a remote shower to a movable water supply for a power washer and so on.
I keep it filled in the warmer months so we always have drinking water if needed.

It’s getting close to that time now for it’s spring tank sterilization.

Bought a NOS camo trailer cover for my workhorse M101A2.
Looks kinda silly on a tan trailer but it will work for now.

These are getting scarce and very expensive.

I will replace the lousy nylon ropes with the rubber rope.
Did that mod on my other trailer and it’s a breeze to get in and out of trailer without having to tie/untie all the time.
