I made a video of unboxing a MK28 Basilic Issue package. In case any body is curious for what is in them,

Do have some bits and kits to sell if any one want one - 1 Mk23, 2 Mk28. Links to eBay listing so far under video

Great video. I always enjoy your driving dash cam vids too
Thank you!

I put up a new dash cam vid a few days ago, nice mountain switch backs coupe 3, 4 thousand foot climb and decent. I was really impressed with the truck all though the engine brake kept trying to rev it past 2100 rpm. That freaked me out, but my brakes squeak a lot less now finally burned the Yermo and rust out of them.

Also installed some toolboxes, but these have been on it awhile. The pipe through the floor in the bed is a base for a crane to lift the tire. Granted I only imagine I will ever use it to get a blown tire loaded in the bed. The crane bits and pieces are stored in the bed toolbox.

Looks like fun! What’s up with it?

This truck came with damage on the pass side. It looks like at some point someone tried to pick the truck up with forks and put a fork through the output shaft cover on the transfer case and one through the bell housing on the trans. We pulled it last night. It goes to the shop today, should have it back and in the truck before turkey dinner.

What a shame. You’ll probably be happy with it afterwards, the 4700sp is TOUGH to say the least

Tough Transmission - but not as tough as the forklift. Dangit! :-(
Shame that the person who did it knew better too...

Putting mine in the shop Monday to replace both transmission cooler lines, having engine oil and filter(s) changed, transmission oil changed, differential and planetary oil changed. Going to try and start on AC install shortly.

Read more of the -10 & -20 manuals. Printed off the wiring schematics and fold-outs. Looked up more NSN’s / Part #’s. Replaced the service brake air hose on the trailer. Trailer has brakes. Will be getting the inter vehicular light cables (24V & 12V) and make sure all lights work in preparation for registering.
