What wheels are on your humvee?

Hey everyone. I figured I would add some photos and info of what I ended up going with... I ordered everything through CARiD.com and they price matched the cheaper prices I found at other websites. Everything came already assembled and balanced on a pallet. The biggest pain was getting the old lugs off. Once that was done, the process was easy.

I am curious what the thought behind the three sets of bolt patterns on the Black Rhino's They look OK at first but after you stare at them a while you kinda wonder WTH?

Ok I’m not wheel sizing expert..... I am trying to figure out what backspacing on the 17x9.5 Black Rhinos for as close to stock. I have searched here and the Facebook and -18 mm offset seems to be the most mentioned but I have also been told +6mm. Since the stock wheel is 9” wide with a 7” backspacing means it has a positive offset, I assume the +6mm will achieve what I am after? And I assume there would be enough inner clearance for 37x12.5x17 tires or is that why there seems to be more mentions of the -18mm? Thanks!

I got the Black Rhino Arsenal 20 X 12 with the -44 offset, Nitto's Ridge Grappler 38 X 13.5, they have the beads for balancing, nice and smooth ride.
With the -44 offset, they just stand out a bit more than the original wheels & tires

Outer pattern looks like you drilled into tires to prevent tire rotating on the bead. Either that or it looks like you clamped the outermost tire lip to the rim for the same purpose for off-road use. 8 bolts are for securing to your vehicle. Inner 6 bolts make it look like you have floating axles that can be removed and serviced without removing the tire.

At least that’s what me thinks.

To me the center looks like it's just a placeholder for a manual locker as used by a lot of 4wd vehicles.

No body lift on mine and I have the 38", I still have 4" of clearance between the front fender and tire and 6" at the back

This is a stock unit, no lift kit. I have a bit of rubbing from the side rails at the front wheels, I will just have to cut them a bit, I also run them with the balancing beads. All in at Discount Tires for about $3,200.00

Bringing an old thread to life

I have a new M1123 build coming and looking to add a 2" body and 2" suspension lift to it. I also ordered the 6 piece Cepek fender flares from MME to give it a slighltly wider stance.

I'm, going to upgrade the wheels and would like 20 x 10's or 20 x 12's. Black rhino doesn't have anything right now but Fuel just came out with a new wheel: http://www.fueloffroad.com/wheel/13725/fuel-1-piece-wheels-militia-d723/?finishID=12&lugs=6

Would like to do 40's or 41's on the truck and have them poke out a little to be flush with the fender flares.

Any guidance or suggestions?

Don't do it. Your acceleration from start will be poor unless you turbocharge your rig.

Stay with 37's.
