Seriously WHY take a chance? spread it out on your gravel road to keep the dust down and put Diesel in the tank, NO worries or questions need to be asked what the results of THAT will be!!

The engines are designed to handle most conventional petroleum based oils and I am aware of the possibilities, but like everything else in the world it involves risk if you use it or not. Modern day diesel is too "dry" for these machines due to the "low" and "ultra low" sulfur content. Search the site, theres a few threads on this.
