I was changing the rear diff oil in the 1008, and I noticed this.....

Dependable is getting close... but no cigar yet!The shiny lugs on u joint indicate some slop in the connection.
WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!its the wrong u-joint for a 1008, shouldn't have inside snap rings on 2 of the caps
What do you use? A welder? Machined for external retaining rings?i dont run snap rings on my 14ff on my M1008
All the same size caps.That looks like a conversion joint are all four caps the same size don't look like it in pic.
