We are starting to rig out our new m1078 for a brush truck and I need to now the best way to get 12V. I want to run power to a master switch and then to a new fuse box that will power a radio, siren, intercom and some LED flashers. What is the best way to get power from the fuse panel in the cab? Or should I run a wire from the batteries? Thanks.

Under the panel at the corresponding bolt you can see on the left of the panel. Come off with a fused link there is no protection to the panel.

I use both the 24V and 12V power on the left side of the panel. 24V for a GOLIGHT and the 12V for a dash box for GPS, cellphone charger, backup camera and other stuff.

I agree with Suprman be sure to fuse any connections!
