Has anyone considered installing or extending a steel frame and fully enclose the glass similar to modern vehicle doors? This would fully cover the glass perimeter and hold it in tight. It might require modifying the cab fram though. IMO that might cut down on the road and air noise.

These are really noisy beasts to begin with. It sounds like a bunch of work to get rid of a small % of the noise that gets created. Go for it if you want to.

It can get a little warm where I live. Don't want to do away with my A/C.
