This weekend will be a huge camporee for the northeast Georgia council for the chattahoochee district. Probably 2,000 of us at scout land on lake Lanier. The event in April is also a north east district event with all the chapters involved. I would say there will be overlap.

Now I decided to hit a tree on the new firebreaks in the forest last nite, and my back is screwed . Call me Ron jr. On pain meds and heat and anti inflammatories. We shall see how day goes

Andy - need you touching in on base here with any updates for the CS/BS run pre-cookout.

I know your have to deal with other folks to line stuff up but time is narrowing down and some folks dislike last minute changes - they like to know what their headed into so they are plan ahead.

Zout and I talked some yesterday and He decided that all the money we get from selling the t-shirts/donations this year will be turned over to Swiss this year to be donated to election funds of the key players in the Georgia House and Senate who helped get Senate Bill 392 passed.

Swiss and Zout worked their fannies off to get some fine language together to present to the powers that be and was successful in getting the Bill passed that will allow ALL folks in Georgia to PROPERLY register/title Former Military Vehicles (FMVs) regardless of age.
Swiss got the language introduced to both houses and it passed which was no easy feat and it was done in one session...almost unheard of!

I'm gonna work up a couple of designs for Zout's approval this week and I'll try to post a pic of the selected design by this Sunday.

we are trying to finish up another truck in time to come down again this year. I am also selling our custom front and rear bumpers if anyone is interested? I can bring bumpers for those who order one? They fit a deuce as well as the 5-tons.. all mounting hardware included. We hope to make it down again this year! Had a great time last year..

Absolutely NO money from the supplied T Shirts by PB goes to anything for the cookout - money to cover his cost and rest to the penny goes to where he says it does.

Main meal is on Deb & I and glad to do it and be capable in this economy to be able to still do it this year - do not offend us by asking to cover any costs please.

Bring your special dish if you can - bring snacks if you can - bring what you want to drink and a fold out chair if you can remember. Rest of ya all came pretty well ready to survice last year.

Come on down get a T shirt - have some fun and talk a peek at PB's ice cream truck.

One small correction I will not recoup my cost, it's part of my contribution to the effort. Every dime goes to the re-election funds.
