POS transmission

If it's driving it has to be a bearing or bushing issue. Unless one of the synchronizers has come apart.

Just for kicks, put the transfer case in neutral and run the transmission in second and third at low RPM. Vary the RPMs and see if you can hear any noises.

I replaced input and output bearings , second gear woodruff keys, and snap rings. And got the main shaft milled down. I put it back to gether they way the TM told me to.

Milled down? Can you elaborate?

I just realized that I am at 10% of what DH is. I have a long way to go and a short time to get there.

Second gear broke and welded its self to the main shaft. So in order to put the new second gear on i had to get the mainshaft milled down alittle bit for it to spin freeley.
