Have you tried to adjust them down? Cover the light that youre not tinkering with so you can see exactly whats happening. Ive had some that i cranked up and some i cranked down to get them where I want/need them. May double check with a local that knows the light adj specs deemed correct by your local law enforcement agency fir extra cya. Remember, the mechanics likely didnt spend alot of time on proper headlight adjustment or the driver mayve jacked them higher. Tinker with it and set it how you dig it or at least legal as best as you can

As far as strange, if it gets the results you desire and you like how it looks, who cares what joe schmoe thinks! We each want different things from our trucks.

Just a thought but since height is a problem, have you thought about a cb antenna mirror mount bracket? Theres some potential in that without having to fab mounts or drill into the rig

I installed two of those Grover stuttertone horns in my Deuce as a replacement for the weak stock horns. They demand attention

I tapped off the horn supply after the solenoid so when I honk the steering wheel horn button they all honk. They sure do demand attention they sound just like a fire truck.

Stuttert horns rock! Almost got one myself!

NICE! I know what you mean! My Nathan P3 grabs the gullet of even the most hardened "text-while-driving" driver.

I used a cummins fuel filter base with a 1"x 14 thread pattern. I chose a Luber-finer fuel water separator LFF 8020. This filter is a 15 micron absolute filter. I will more than likely next time use a LFF 90011 filter as it has a bowl so you can see the water. It is also a 15 micron absolute. If you prefer they also offer a 5 micron absolute filter. I made my own bracket out of some scrap aluminum I had laying around. Other than that all of the other stock fittings mounted up perfectly with no mods.

-Changed input shaft seal on the transmission (should've done it last year when I had the darn thing out for the rear main seal:doh::rolleyes:)...
And...
-Installed new Truck-Lite bracket/Peterson LED license plate light.
