ke5eua is on the road as of an hour ago (just got home myself). Rain was heavy just after departure just north of where the HET was but let up after 20 mins. I'm holding the M818 until his return..just take Murphy with you when you do lol!

Thank you so much.

I think Murphy is clinging to the rear bumper.

Stopped for the night in Baytown, raining so I figured I'll get a good night sleep in the 1070.

Hopefully Murphy decided to take a break for a few days and let me finish this trip.

I just want to say thank you to all who have offered assistance, without you I would probably have incurred a hefty tow bill somewhere down the line.

I am grateful, and if I can return the favor if ever called upon.

On a side note, anyone selling a medium duty tow bay, feet not needed, lol

Myself I would like to get an ibes one, but I owe jeep a medium duty one.

So from here it is on to jeeps then i10 to Florida, so if you are along the route please be on the lookout.

Sorry I didn't toot the horn, between the rain and crazy drivers wasn't paying attention to mile markers.

I recommend Baytown Seafood at I-10 and Hwy 146, south side of the intersection next to truck stop.

Ha ha, the wife would feel a disturbance in the for if I pulled up a xxx site on my phone, so uhh no.

Night was peaceful, after I topped off this morning I realized Murphy will not let go, I must have feed it after midnight or he got wet from all the rain.

Battery gauge on the 24v side was in the red again. I shut off the ventaliator and the dash fan and it had maintained 24v.

I'm hoping it's not a battery but more of a alternator issue. Gonna put the multimeter on it in a little bit to see what the voltage is on it.

Other than that picked up the 939 for jeep and on my way. Should be in fl by morning, wife is going to meet me in ft Myers Friday then we head back to la.

The -20 says 24V is only used for starting, ctis, air dryers, and trailer lights. If you pop the breakers on those items, the batt should stay charged enough to crank for days to come. Knock on wood.
