Are you towing the Pioneer tool trailer or will you have hitch space available? I don't have any current plans, but I figure it may open a possibility for someone.
I'm planning on bringing my Pioneer. BUT, I might have someone coming on Sat and might be able to have them tow. If this is of interest to (you/someone) let me know.

Man you put a lot of blood sweat and beers in that truck hate you decided to sell it but life goes on. Hope you're planning on replacing it soon with the other Green iron?
Yeah, we did - but she's doing nothing but sitting in the yard most of the time now. I guess the honeymoon is over - time for her to go to someone that will use her! I WAS wanting a CUCV to pull the Jeep with, but I just bought a 2008 F250 for that (I know - not as fun and not an HMV). I've always wanted an M37 and a WW2 Jeep - maybe I'll take a partial trade on one of those. Or maybe I'll just roll with the M38a1 for a while longer - who knows. I have an M100 trailer that I am(uh-hum) working on now. It's still up in the air if I'll even get that done before the rally - or if I'll get the spare engine rebuilt and installed.

Do these have the older 8 lug pattern that is interchangeable with HMMWV wheels? You mentioned Ford, and I've read their newer 8-lug pattern isn't compatible with older hub spacing. I'm interested if they'd fit on an M116A3.
These are early-80s vintage. Ford didn't switch to the metric pattern until 2007 or thereabouts. They'll fit on an M116a3 just fine.

If you need some tires right away I also have a pair 0f 16.5" Dodge wheels with some Power King 9.5-16.5 bias ply highway tires on them. Would make great trailer tires and should have a lotta life left in them. Say $150 for the pair?

Mike, make sure you show him the truck, that is the ONE AND ONLY bobbed deuce I have ever seen that I would be proud to own.
Correct I can't stand bobbed trucks but I would make a exception for that one.
^^^^What they said.

Thanks Guys - makes me feel like we did a good job on her! I love driving, showing and talking about the deuce, but with it just sitting out there in the weather NOT getting driven or loved, you know what happens to these old girls - they go downhill FAST and then you spend more money and time repairing them than enjoying them. Hate to see her go, but I think it's time. I'm not going to do an official FOR SALE thread, but if you know anybody interested, I can talk.

I have HUNDREDS of Military Vehicles Magazine (some VERY EARLY), Army Motors and Supply Line.

$2/ea in bulk (min 10 magazines - there will be a mixture of dates so that one or two people don't get ALL of the early MVM magazines).
$5/ea if you want me to wade through them for a certain date

No need for you to bust your butt looking or anything like that, but do any of them contain any articles about M880s?

Here's an issue index I just found for MVM Don. http://www.militaryvehiclesmagazine.com/issueindex
Here's an Army Motors index for issues 1-50: http://wwiijeepparts.com/Archives/ArmyMotorsMagazineMasterIndex001.050.html
Couldn't find an index for Army Motors 51-100:
Army Motors 101-150: http://wwiijeepparts.com/Archives/ArmyMotorsMagazineMasterIndex101.150.html

Here's the MVPA Army Motors search page, but couldn't find much there: http://www.mvpa.org/publications/army-motors-article-index/

I can't guarantee which ones I have though - I'm pretty sure I have pretty much everything for the last 14 years at least. I ordered a bulk box of old issues of MVM when I first bought my Jeep back in 1997, so that's where I got the old magazines from. Just throw some #s at me and I'll see if I can find them.

Any of them issue 38 or prior?

I'm missing issues 43, 47, 48 and 176 (has to be here somewhere?) I'll take those if you have them
