Getting a little fuzzy here... I dont think the M939's ever came with a turbo on the 855, and the 8.3 in the A2 is a mechanical motor, so electronics have nothing to do with it's power, mainly just the fact that it's forced induction.
Be real careful with getting hung up on miles and hours as the are known to be inaccurate. Divide the miles by the hours, if it comes out to 20-30 MPH, they "could" be correct. If it comes out to over 50 MPH, most likely at least one of the numbers is not correct to the truck.
There is a picture of an ABS MWO tag and ABS dash light on the truck that Alice has been referring to, so it "should" have ABS.
There are no pictures of data plates or motor, but the description lists the motor as an 855 and it has dual wheels, no sigh on CTIS inside or out, has fuel filler coming straight up out of of the top center of the tank, carrier in the front drive shaft, and LED head lights.

Jbulach,. GOOOOOOOD point on the hours vs. miles. Just second nature anymore. Forgot to mention. That's why I like having one on my left and one on my right. Thanks.

Aliiiiiiice, I'd use your middle name too if I knew it. But hey I am always up for some ambiguity, innuendo, and even semantics ( some antics ). [thumbzup] I have not had any 'speriance with Rancher's Supply. Around here it's Tractor Supply Company ( TSC, as in tough shhhh. . . Charlie ), Walmart, Home Depot and Harbor Freight for almost all of my non-food and drink needs. Yeah, some of the checker outers are very cute and like guys with big . . . tires.

IM IN TORONTO, fine me you glorious bastard! haha (Though i will travel to the end of the country for one, lets keep that between us)

Is that the lucky lady in the picture?

Thanks guys ill be re-reading and re-reading all these point every time i find a listing. I think i do have my heart set on an A2 model. i dont know if thats just because thats because its the first love type of thing or because i actually prefer the sepcs but the heart wants what the heart wants. ;)
Don't know what your price range is but Suprman has a very nice A2 in the classifieds, within easy diving distance as well!

Caveat Emptor, ALWAYS !
Never been tuh Tronna, eh. Montreal and Ontario , nes pa, before the Border Dickheads made it a pain in the wallet. Rather spend my money on beer and . . .other things.
Yes, that's her AND just like any worthwhile partner, still waiting for her to get ready. Nothing good comes.easy. At least she won't cheat on me with another truck and then take all my stuff.
I've been to the land of the maple leaf, but that was many many many years ago and I barely remember it so I won't count it lol, I would love to make the trip up there though just to check it out. No joke about takin all my stuff, maybe gas money lol but not my other stuff lol
My preference in the 939series trucks is the A0/A1.
However, for your use - long highway drives - the A2 is better suited. The advantages are fuel efficiency and holding speed on uphill grades.
My truck works in the dirt but does most of its long distance on dry pavement. I just pulled out two stumps today with mine and I still have more to pull.

DONT STEAL MY TRUCK I WILL FIGHT YOU! :D
The price jumped to 10k now.
What ive found on it was that it was bought, by these guys anyway, to be converted into a food truck for their buisness (i guess i shouldnt mention the name but its right on the photo of the truck to be faiiiiiir), in 2016. I stalked them on social media and located photos of the truck. They also own another MV (which to me looked like the m1087 kind that preceded the m934s) along with their food truck.
But for some reason they've decided against it. Im going to assume that its because if its going to be a mobile every day food tuck that maybe they thought the gas prices were a bit much. So im not sure whats going on, and why the listings keep running into dead ends. I like to think that everyone is out there with good intentions but shill auction or not it seems like this is not my guy. Perhaps something about this truck does not want to be owned :D
Don't worry hun, I won't buy it out from under you lol I've got my baby and she's just fine for me, all I need now is a stripped down parts truck so I've got a chassis and rear axles to start from for my trailer.
lol thanks for calling it a scooter :D
Lol we call them scoots down here, I know Moose meant no disrespect. Mine is an 08 HD Nightster, what is that one? I tried blowing up the pic, but it just grainy on my phone for some reason.
No disrespect. It's gorgeous. Always called mine scooters. From a Honda Rebel to a H-D bagger. I SCOOT through traffic, soooo . . . Scooter.
Too bad you ain't close Moose, it'd be nice to find someone else to ride with, ain't NOTHIN like the feeling of wind in the face, even the truck can't do that for me.

BTW, I spent all total just under $15k for mine, but that's including the last minute flight ($1k), the UHual, and all the fuel money. Would I do it all over again? HELS YEAH! I would just inspect a little closer, and try to jew the fella down a bit if I could.

Some ladies just want half of what makes you happy ;) i just want the thing that dives away with it all. Weheheh
Jesus Mos seems everybodys trucks are working their asses off here, I swear mine will be a big spoiled baby. Ill have to find some dirt to haul once in a while i swear.

:D Are you saying Moose has more wind power than a speeding truck? (im dying here)

Ohh a harley, nice choice. My dude is a 1978 Hercules BW 125k Military (Ger)
Heres a bunch of photos: IMG_7257.jpgIMG_7608.jpgIMG_7233.jpg18945030_663428593868336_1495980526_n.jpgIMG_6917.jpg

Seems reasonable, hence im capping the truck itself at 10k-ish and the rest for travels and transport/repairs. But i have to be careful to not spend too much from the savings so that it wont debilitate me from getting involved in other things. I try to make everything work with me. The bike i used in a tv show recently (and some background films) which pretty much now paid for itself and returned any money i put into it. Hes in the UK though :< sitting in storage now.
Here in canada i have a...cough 50cc..cough cough lawnmower, i mean, Honda PA50 (1977) hehe what a beast am i rite? ;) Nah its a cutie. e326d1e7eb917382a42d0a3b6021b822.jpg
I love nothing more than pulling up to proper bikers and doing the good o'l vroom vroom mother****ers. Usually gets a good laugh out of them :D

https://youtu.be/GUWjFZ7ZKqo

Ill have to take a pic of it tomorrow since I don't have any with the most recent work done to it.

You shoulda been here when I first tried to pull out a stump with the truck, ended up breaking three chains. Finally gave up and bought some 1/2" loggers chains before I ran out of chains to break lol

Love my Harley as much as I do my truck, the bike needs a new paint job since it's got a dent or two in the tank and one of the panels is scratched AF from when I moved it to AZ. But I figure I'll get to it sometime while I'm building the RV for the truck.
