I bought a "Prepcision Magnetic Gun Pistol Mount Precision Quickdraw" a few years back. They have 4 holes for screws to mount and have a concealed magnet to secure the pistol. A nice feature is you can charge an empty chamber by pushing down on the grip as you grab your weapon. Never tried it with a revolver though.Does anyone have any good suggestions for a mounted holster for an 87 M998? All the ones I find are magnets and that’s a no go for aluminum.

Actually bought several. Some went out as gifts. I mounted one by the bedroom door. Easily accessible for 'bumps' in the night.Where did you mount it?
Oh. I meant where did you mount it in your HMMWVActually bought several. Some went out as gifts. I mounted one by the bedroom door. Easily accessible for 'bumps' in the night.
Not applicable (don't have a MV).Oh. I meant where did you mount it in your HMMWV
It appears you are correct. Here's the relevant information-I see by your avitar you are located in Florida? If so, In Florida, a firearm in a vehicle must be securely encased or not readily accessible for immediate use, unless it is concealed on your person.
So if you have it mounted in a holster and get stopped by LEO, prepare to be swatted. You can't have a firearm openly visible in Florida.
I know they just changed the law and you do not need a concealed carry permit anymore to conceal carry. But I do not believe they changed the above requirements.
