I'm up, I'm up....haha We had a great time at the mini-rally. I know someone took pics of the rigs. Elk has a good idea regarding the group shot. At the July convoy we will do a group photo.

As soon as Hammer and I turned off at exit 71 on the way home, we thought Josh was in beeg trouble. We both saw the stater gaining on Josh, lights a blaz'en. No worries, The s.p. must have been after someone faster than Josh. Josh reported that he got home with no trouble!

Thanks again to Dan for the use of his farm and the great hospitality. Thanks to Scott for working to bring us all together again.

See you all in July!:jumpin:

Thanks Dan and Scott!
Dan, I forgot to get those 'coffins' for more insulation!
I had figured we were staying there a bit longer, so I wasn't too worried about it.

Btw, we rode in the 818 with NO hearing protection! And even though the cab is less then half insulated now, it made the world of a difference! We could actually TALK without yelling while driving at 55 to 65 mph!
Honestly, I was a bit doubtful of just how well that foam would work, but it has done an outstanding job so far, and I have a lot left to insulate in the cab!

I didn't think we were going to Brad's place, but I still ended up getting some hoses for my big transfer pump, and the towing chains that I have been after (yes, TWO of them!) Not sure how Mike missed these last time, as Danielle found them within 3-4' of his main road! Buried in the weeds/brush of course, but right there!

Dan, you are a brave man keeping your wife up after such a long journey and with such a large offset in time! I have a feeling that Danielle will be in contact with her soon enough ;)

Scott, how did the truck drive? Looks like it was doing pretty good out on the road, but I was at the back of the pack, sucking all that exhaust.....

Aaron/Amber, thanks again.....

Now, I will insulate some more, get that fuel shutoff solenoid fixed, and be ready for the July Convoy and Parade!

We had a blast, and I didn't even have to work on anyone's vehicle!
What a great way to spend our anniversary!

hey aaron how much did you want for that green backpack. i forgot to ask...and how much for the spreaders i may be able to buy some netting online without spreaders. hehe. i see we missed the good weather by a day. oh well i think i may want to make a day trip down to where you guys live on 101 and cruise the beaches one of these weekends.

this weekend the 23rd and 24rth im going to ft warden in port townsend if anyone would like to come :)

Well, I must say, Jackie and I had a blast. It was so much fun to get to meet everybody and see the great collection of locally owned M.V.'S. I think Jackie got the "green fever" worse then I did. Even more so since we now know where one just happens to be sitting waiting for someones attention.

We got pictures of all the trucks. But, I'm unable to post them anytime soon, since Jackie figured out she left the camera in Josh's truck. So, I'll get those done when we get it back.

Now for the thanks and stuff. Josh, thanks so much for putting up with us crammed in the truck with you. We had a great time. Jackie is already asking me if she thinks you would let us do it again. Maybe for the big one in July. I told her we would talk about it and I would have to ask anyways.

Aaron and Amber, you guys are awesome. Thank you so much for the use of the sweatshirts when we weren't ready for the drop in temp. Also, Jackie is just thrilled to have a desk (thanks again for that one). She can't stop talking about it, or the dog, or the truck that's just sitting, or you guys in general. Thanks for putting up just hanging out and tagging along.

Ed and Danielle, it was great to meet you both. The truck was everything Josh and Aaron said it would be. We didn't get to talk a whole lot, so that will have to be next time. Congrats on your big day. It was great to share it with you at jack in the box.

Mike and son, we didn't get to talk much either. But it was awe inspiring to see an M.V. Taken back to the looks of its glory days and then some. Great work.

Scott, thanks for bringing eveybody together. It was good to meet you and your project. Maybe you'll be able to get all of your wiring done by the time we make it back out there.

Dan and wife, thanks for opening your home to the new guys in the group. Your hospitality and generosity are unmeasurable. We enjoyed meeting you both. Jackie enjoyed telling me all about the adventures in Iraq, and the great converation she had while laying on the ground at Brads place. We hope to see you both again soon enough. Be safe out there.

I know there's people I'm forgetting and I'm sorry about that. It was such a great day that I'm still taking it all in.

Thank you all again. We hope to see you soon, if we proved ourselves welcome and worthy to come back.

Sorry I did not make it guys, I was in the field for some training and did not get back until Friday. On top of that one of my soldiers who is deployed had some family issues come up that required my attention all weekend.

Hi Dale, sorry you were unable to make it. Sounds like you had much more important issues to attend to. Thanks for your service Dale! Definately looking forward to July. I hope you and the family are able to make it then.

It was great seeing everyone again.
Did anyone see the big grin on my much better half's face as you all pulled in?

She's due back for good in Sept. and I think a very large BBQ is in order, besides, being around all the MV's she'll feel right at home, guess I'll have to surround the house with T walls next............

Well geeeez Ed! Congrats! If I would have known that, I could have picked a better place than Jack in the Box.
Therein lies the beauty of our marriage!
11 years married, and we are enough in common that having a mini-rally with the MV group was a GREAT way to spend our day.

As for the fast food choice for that day, it isn't about where you go, it's about who you are with.

Btw guys, the hoses I got at Brads to fit the transfer pump I got last time, they worked perfectly for how I wanted them. And it was a GOOD thing I got all three, I have already used them all!
Btw, that pump can put enough suction on the intake hose to flatten it out if the inlet becomes restricted at all!
Insane how well that works! I pumped out a few hundred gallons of water in a matter of minutes!

Dan, thanks, not sure when we will make it, but hopefully before the July convoy. I should have enough more to finish the back wall of the cab, but I will need some more to completely finish it out like I want (tempted to do this on Danielle's m35 as well!)

Medic, glad you made it. You should take a ride in the truck. It seems really big at first, but shortly after being in it for a while, it feels normal. Well, as normal as a MV can be ;)

Btw, Both Aaron and I have an extra deuce for sale. I know ours are good setups and we feel comfortable about their condition. If the one you are looking at becomes questionable, feel free to ask us for more info.

Lol. Funny you mention those two things. The wife has already asked me if we go to the July rally (still waiting on Aaron to reply to the PM I sent him) if I thought you would give us a ride in your 5-ton if we asked. I think she really enjoyed just taking it all in when she saw it. Also, it was Aaron's deuce that I was talking about the one sitting. PM some info on what you have for sale as well. I need more fuel fo the O.D. fire to help win me case to get one.

Will get what pic's we took posted as soon as Josh and I can meet up and do a camera retrieval.

Thanks again for putting up with us "O.D. virgins". It was really a lot of fun.

You are welcome to ride in the truck with me.
But I can only seat two in my truck with the dual spring seats. So one at a time could ride with me.
