Where and when do you all plan on meeting? Like I said up above, I may or may not have my 109 put back together in time. May just bring my Dodge Cummins. I'll be there rain or shine. Bring your boots if there's rain. You'll see why;-)

Haha, I'm sure he'll remember. He's a pretty sharp guy. Funny how he remembers almost everything I have bought from him. I picked up a part similiar to one I bought almost 2 years ago and he says "what do you need with that? You already got one of those from me" I'm really not after much this time around. Just whatever I can use for my 109 project build mostly.
Not sure when you guys plan on meeting but I make it a point to get to his place before 0900 hrs. Need plenty of time to graze in his field of parts:lol:

LOL, great idea. I probably should scout out the area. Even better I better lock the gate behind me rofl Those tow bar clamps between the 2 buildings are something I have been trying to get from him for months. Well, you know how that goes. "I need to keep those..." LOL. Must be pretty tough for him to see all of us converge onto his area and buy up all his stuff.

I'd try and secure a tow bar first. I know Brad has a few tow bar parts but nothing to make a complete set. I saw one listed down in Chehalis for $400 complete. Looked like it was NOS. I'm going to secure a couple tool boxes to the underframe of the M105A2 behind the tires.

im still debating about putting another fuel tank where my spare is and make it another toolbox...or to make it another tank....:lost: we will defiantly be talking about my truck when i get there!

Well, as a BOV. Fuel is going to be a high commodity. You definately don't want to worry about fuel when bugging. Getting stuck in I-5 gridlock during an event will deplete your fuel quickly. Your bed and m103 trailer should be big enough to house a toolbox. If it were me, I'd go with the fuel tank. I guess a guy could go with a bed mounted fuel tank or put it in place of your spare tire. If you're going super singles, can't use that space for a spare anyways. To free up space, I'd definately put an aux tank there.

Under the bed as in between the chassis members? There's no reason why you couldn't get another 50 gallon tank where the spare tire compartment is. Unless he doesn't want to sell anymore 50 gallon fuel tanks:). Yah, mounting the tire in the upright position is optimal. Are you just going to bungee it to the sideboards?

Eh dunno you know brad and ideas. i was leaving at that point so we'll see what he says when i get there saturday. about the tire im going to have a single square tube bolted to the bed. then somehow mount it to that. saw someone do it on here and it was slick looking.

Not sure if I will meet you at KK or just head to Brad's, kinda just depends on how many times I hit snooze in the morning!

Wishing I was able to go, but there's a room that needs painting and doors that need hanging before Monday And they won't get done by themselves....

Sure wish I knew what was going to be there and what else was going to happen there, other than chewing the fat and bragging about MVs....

Well, just checked the weather. My area is under a winter storm watch with snow 1-4 inches expected starting around 0400 hrs. Should be a pretty interesting drive to Brad's from this side.

We had another great time at Brad's place. It was good to see you guys (Scott, Dave, Josh). Sorry Scott, we didn't troubleshoot your truckaua. Guess there were too many distractions around us, too many things to look at. Next time we'll need to rally somewhere without a ton of green parts on the ground.
