over a year ago i was going to purchase an m715 found one local but did not purchase due to its condition took it for test drive but wasnt worth what he wanted in my opinion worked on military stuff in job corp and loved to hear and see those dueces run

I read the rules twice found what i did wrong and will keep it in mind . Also found this useful info in there .It stood out the MOST.Do not post unfriendly or insulting comments or replies to other members., This can start unpleasant exchanges which no one wants to read in an otherwise valuable topic. If someone has posted a rude comment to/about the user, the user itself is asked to ignore the remark and report the offending post for review and deletion. NOT WANTING TROUBLE but I did read and now know what NOT to do... I enjoy constructive criticism just not destructive criticism.I HOPE WE CAN ALL BE GOOD FRIENDS ON HERE .


On another note wanted to know if anyone could email the M35 manual/manuals to me. My Computer is broken and im using my ps3 so certain things dont function as a computer does on it. IF This is possible I would greatly appreciate it.

And in response to to the comment about reading and researching for over a year, why so many uninformed inquiries and posting into other members threads with a "want to buy" question ?

Not trying to be a horses flank, but go right ahead and start your relationship on your terms, seems to work for others that way sometimes . . .

And by the way, Welcome to the site and hope the bumps in the road get smoother real quick, tons of information available, but may be best , as Jeff suggested, to research more to get the most out of ANY venture !

I try to do right by all, Ive read some really nice things on here and see people willing to lend a hand. Its a shame that its not like that everywhere. Watch GL auctions for trucks near you. Also check the classified ads on this site (if you scroll to the top of the page, the link to the classifieds is in the middle). The advantages to private sales are being able to look the truck over very well, being able to test drive it, and having paperwork out of the way; there is no waiting. Disadvantages are initial price, however, in my opinion, the prices I've seen on most private sale deuces are very reasonable. You won't have to worry about the unknown quite like you will with GL deuces. GL's advantages are price. Sometimes. You are taking a greater risk as a GL bidder than you would be with a private sale. If you find yourself in need of numerous repairs, you could be spending much more. It's a plus to be able to do a thorough preview. Disadvantages: you have just bought a truck that you don't know the full condition of. You will have to wait to get cleared to pick it up, and when you are cleared, you are given 10 business days to remove it. You must be able to arrange and complete a pickup in that 10 day window. You may need to tow it, or haul it home. If you don't have your own gear to do this, it could be very expensive. I personally took the risk without a preview. I have access to a semi and hauled it home over 500 miles. I got what I feel is a decent truck and will be in it around $3500 to get it road ready, and several hundred more for a very thorough job maintaining it (and thati is something I would do on any used vehicle so it's really not that bad IMO). Granted, availability and prices are different on the east coast vs the midwest. The info you need is most likely on the site already for buying and recovering a deuce. Many, many specific mechanical questions have been covered. I had a few specific questions myself to clear up the 1st time butterflies. I hope you have a reasonably clear understanding of the processes of purchasing a vehicle, whether it be private sale or GL auction. Update us with questions not quite so broad as you have already, so you can get exactly the information you want.
